About Me
Hi there, my name is Elizabeth Moorhouse and I have been working with dogs since I was 10 years old, when I was trained to show dogs. Professionally, I have been in the Pet industry for 18+ years. I managed a pet boarding/day care facility for 3+ years before moving to Baltimore and starting my own Pet Care Business. Soon after starting I realized I was helping my walking clients more and more with training so it only seemed natural to become a Certified Dog Trainer and begin my training journey.
I am CCDT certified through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, a American Kennel Club Instructor/Evaluator, certified in First Aid and CPR for pets through ProTraining, and a proud member of both The Association of Professional Dog Trainers and The Pet Professional Guild.
I am comfortable with any type of dog or cat as I’ve had experience with many different breeds and temperaments (Including experience with animals in wheel chairs, deaf, suffer from separation anxiety, fear, and barrier frustration) in many different environments.
On top of my Professional training experience with animals, you can find me helping out at Howl on the weekends; I also run Charity events and Adoption Days at Howl. Most importantly, I am the lucky owner a rescued Border Collie named Link and Howl's Greeter, Beans (Labrador Retriever).
(The pup in the photo below is my beloved Zelda; she passed away in June of 2022).
