About Me
Hi there, my name is Elizabeth Moorhouse, and I have been working with dogs since I was 10 years old, when I was trained to show dogs. Professionally, I have been in the Pet industry for 18+ years. I managed a pet boarding/daycare facility for 3+ years before moving to Baltimore and starting my own Pet Care Business. Soon after starting, I realized I was helping my walking clients more and more with training, so it only seemed natural to become a Certified Dog Trainer and begin my training journey.
I am CCDT certified through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, a American Kennel Club Instructor/Evaluator, certified in First Aid and CPR for pets through ProTraining, and a proud members of APDT, and The Pet Professional Guild.
I am comfortable with any type of dog or cat as I’ve had experience with many different breeds and temperaments (Including experience with animals in wheelchairs, deaf, suffer from separation anxiety, fear, and barrier frustration) in many different environments.
In addition to my professional training with animals, I currently work at BARCS, helping animals find their forever homes. Most importantly, I've been very fortunate to have owned and fostered many dogs and cats throughout my life.
(The pup in the photo below is my beloved Zelda; she passed away in June of 2022).
